PRLS Special Release 004 discusses the prospect of adopting Islamic Finance in BLGC

The introduction of Islamic Finance, through the Bangsamoro Organic Law and Republic Act No. 11439 or otherwise known as “An Act Providing for the  Regulation and Organization of Islamic Banks,” is an indication that a good financial practice plays a significant part in Filipino-Muslim communities. 

PRLS Special Series 004, entitled “Islamic Finance and its prospect on Credit Financing in the Bangsamoro Local Governance  Code” discusses how Islamic Finance can be implemented in BARMM.

The paper proposes that Islamic financing activities should be integrated into Bangsamoro Local Governance Code (BLGC), where credit financing is seen to potentially expand financial transactions and opportunities in the region.
